Katholische Kirchengemeinde St. Ludwig Darmstadt innenstadt

Ludwigskirche is located on Wilhelminenplatzm, just a few minutes from Downtown Darmstadt. The church, distinctive for its dome-shaped facade, was built in 1822. Designed by Georg Moller, the church was dedicated to Saint Louis IX of France. What's interesting to the architecture of this iconic church building is that everything here is designed as per the Golden Ratio, which is perhaps why it looks so appealing. The interiors of the church are just as impressive as the exterior, featuring 28 magnificent Corinthian columns and beautiful artworks.
