Spread over an area of 8,000 square meters (86,000 sq feet) in the east section of the Dragão stadium, the F.C. Porto Museum is one of the best museums in the city and a must visit for all football fans. Opened in 2013, it consists of 27 different thematic display areas showcasing the football club's successful history in events, titles, matches and many of their notable players and managers. The club's presence in the sports of basketball, roller hockey and handball can also be seen in the other sections. A large exhibition of the club's domestic football silverware and several international trophies can be seen in the central space of the museum. A temporary exhibition space, coffee house, auditorium, club store and rooms for educational activities can be found here as well.
