The Lambertikirche is a historic church in Aurich which dates back to the 19th Century. The church is known for its beautiful interior with its intricately carved altar, 17th Century pulpit, Flemish chandeliers which date back to the time of the Thirty Years War. The 13th Century bell tower stands even today as evidence of an earlier church which existed before the current structure was built. Not only is the church replete in architectural splendor, it is also host to a number of cultural and community events as well as concerts which take place on a regular basis.
