Set in the idyllic countryside beside a lake and surrounded by tress, the beautiful historic castle of Loppem is a popular tourist attraction with its well preserved architecture, rich interior furnishings, stunning artwork displays and a romantic park and maze. Constructed in 1862, the castle is considered to be a masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture and is open to public visits. The castle and its grounds can also be rented for private functions and conferences.
