Museum De Hallen occupies three structures including the ancient Vleeshal which dates back to the 17th Century. Exhibiting striking works of contemporary art, the museum provides a healthy platform for emerging and established artists from Haarlem and other parts of the world. The museum's exhibits focus on video art and photography. The collection includes nearly 10,000 art works offering a critical view of the modern society.
