The Globe is a laid-back and relaxed Irish pub in downtown Athens. Dark wood floors, comfy couches and soft lighting lend the space a classic style and warm feel. A few vegetarian and vegan options are available as well. Grab a seat inside and enjoy live music as you kick-back with a pint, or settle down at the patio outside for a bit of people watching. The scotch flights are especially good and a delight for lovers of fine spirits. Apart from music concerts, the bar also hosts events like wine tastings and film screenings for time to time. While the Globe may not be the most popular of downtown's many bars, it remains a great place to hang out with friends over drinks and conversation.
