Brainchild of the same brilliant minds that created NYC's infamous Bowery Ballroom, Teragram Ballroom is a thriving concert venue that features a host of local and touring indie bands. Located just off the center of Downtown, the venue is housed within what used to be a silent movie theater. Each concert usually features two or three bands with headliners taking the stage at around 10p. Tickets can be purchased online and over the phone from Ticketmaster, or at the door before the concert begins. Apart from state-of-the-art sound and light systems, the venue also features two bars and a restaurant. Lively, eclectic and bursting with character, the Teragram Ballroom is a haven for the city's indie music fans, and those seeking a night-time hangout that is away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Los Angeles. The Teragram Ballroom is available on hire for private events.
