A great addition to Charlotte's burgeoning craft beer scene, the Sugar Creek Brewing Company specializes in Trappist-style Belgian beers. The spacious taproom is infused with warmth from the modern chandeliers, and brick walls and communal-style wooden tables create an inviting tableau to appreciate a fine brew. Patrons can opt for beer flights or even refill their growlers here. There are some year-round brews available besides an assortment of seasonal varieties - the White Ale and the Belgian Dubbel are favorites. The bar's patio is an excellent place to unwind with a beer while munching on tasty eats from local food trucks or a gourmet panini from the taproom kitchen.
