A well-known inn with live music three nights a week, Josefine also serves hot and cold meals. The interior is intimate, with a homely atmosphere. The music includes jazz jamming on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the Folk Song Club on Wednesdays. Many well-established artists enjoy playing concerts at Josefine; this is perhaps due to the intimate stage that binds audience and artist together. Among the famous Norwegian folk singers who have played here are Åge Aleksandersen, Jan Eggum, Lillebjrn Nilsen and Steinar Albrigtsen.
