Philip Scharrenberg is a popular German cabaret artist and slam poet. The Bonn-native was introduced to slam poetry in 2006 and went on to place third at the Poetry Slam Championships the following year. He spent the next few years making a name for himself in the slam poetry circuit across the country and won several awards at the national level. The beginning of the 2010s marked a chapter of extensive touring for the artist; he spent close to seven years touring all over the country and sometimes abroad under the stage name Philipp Scharri. Around the same time, he also dabbled in kabarett (German cabaret) and found immense success. Performing under his original name ever since then, he has won several honors in his field, and has been a part of several big-name satirical shows and festivals.
