Swiss blues musician Philipp Fankhauser was born in Thun in 1964. Around the age of 15, he developed an interest in blues music which was augmented after he attended the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1981. He made his debut in 1989 with the album Blues for the Lady, released on Funk House Blues Production. He then went on to release several other albums such as With a Feeling, On Broadway, Welcome to the Real World, Try My Love and I'll Be Around. Many of his albums have charted on the Swiss Top Ten charts. His most popular tracks include "Let Life Flow," "Wheels to the Road Again," "Born All Over," "Here in My Arms," "Let's Straighten it Out" and "Horse of a Different Color."
