Carlos Nuñez

Irish musician Carlos Nuñez is one of the few torch holders for his Spanish region's Celtic folk roots. A master of the gaita, a traditional Celtic bag pipe, Nuñez has becomes so well-regarded that he is now considered an honorary member of Celtic group The Chieftains. In addition to work the The Chieftains, Nuñez has contributed music to film and collaborated with experimental Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
