Derek Webb is a contemporary Christian singer/songwriter and is perhaps one of the genre's most celebrated talents. Since getting his start as a member of the Christian alternative rock band Caedmon's Call, Webb has embarked upon an extremely successful career as a solo artist, and has earned several awards on top of producing numerous number one hits on the Christian radio charts over the course of his career. As of 2007, Webb rejoined Caedmon's Call in order to support the band with songwriting and touring while continuing to move forward with his solo career, much to the delight of his and the band's every-growing number of fans in the Christian community and beyond.
