Denison Witmer

Denison Witmer is an American musician who is heavily influenced by the singer/songwriters of the 1970s, such as Nick Drake, James Taylor and Harry Chapin. Raised in Lancaster, Philadelphia, Witmer began his career in 1995 with the self-released, My Luck, My Love. He has since steadily gained followers, including many of his more successful contemporaries, such as indie folk artist Sufjan Stevens. His gentle finger-picking guitar style sets the hushed tone of many of his songs and his honest, intimately personal lyrics have struck a chord with fans of heart-on-sleeve testimonials.
