Heavy Trash

Heavy Trash is a rockabilly band based in New York City that was formed in 2005 by Jon Spencer of the world-renowned band The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. Like in his legacy band, Spencer's vision for Heavy Trash is to take the genre of rockabilly into new, and slightly more eclectic territory. Combining elements of alternative country, blues, garage punk and Americana into the band's signature style of rockabilly, Heavy Trash is already being viewed by fans of the genre as one of the greatest, original rockabilly acts to come about in quite some time.
