Karsh Kale is a world musician from New York City by way of India whose claim to fame is his work at blending Indian/Hindu classical music with popular electronic club music. Celebrated by Billboard Magazine as a "visionary composer and producer," Kale is considered by many to be one of the leading figures in electronic music fusion today, and his newly forged genre of culturally-infused electronic music has gone on to influence a whole new generation of musicians on the electronic/pop music front. Kale's music continues to be an almost iconic mainstay on the electronic music scene, with much of his music heard these days in collaboration with other famed artists, as well as featured on major television series such as HBO's hit True Blood.
