Kicking around the Italian new wave, rock and punk scenes in the 1980s and 1990s, Daniele Gaudi took the long route in finding his now well-established electronic music career. After a move to London in 1995, he began to set his sights on reggae and dub, two styles that would have a huge impact on his trademark worldbeat meets downtempo electronica style. Gaudi takes pleasure in working the essence of different cultural rhythms and instrumentation into his chill out productions, illustrated nicely by the mashing of flamenco guitar, Latin beat and dub bass together on "Babylon Flamenco," a standout track from his 2004 LP Bass, Sweat & Tears.
