Modern Superstitions is an indie pop/rock trio from Toronto, Canada that borrows from a wide range of influences to create a distinct sonic bouillabaisse of rock, pop, punk and Motown that is sure to please the ear. Despite being comprised of musicians that are in the process of climbing out of their teenage years, more and more these days one notices that the indie community rewards the relative inexperience of youth with a forum to grow their talents while being heard at the same time, and Modern Superstitions takes full advantage of this trend. Even though the young Canadian band might still be trying to find its own truly unique voice, the general consensus of those who have heard the band live is that the prodigious members of Modern Superstitions are almost, if not already there.
