Picastro

Toronto's Picastro is a hard to pin down as a musical force, as the band pulls from such a wide range of influences. Drawing on the strings of gypsy music and even metal, Picastro explores the dark and sometimes dissonant territory of rock music, creating territory that is comfortable in the less defined. Where his songwriting is concerned, sitting in between structure and chaos is Picastro's forte, and is reason enough to see the band's unique live performance in action.
