Treefight For Sunlight is an indie pop band from Copenhagen, Denmark that, to many who have had the opportunity to hear the band's music, takes the idea of ecstatic baroque pop to a whole new level of complexity and exuberance. Indeed, one can hear that the Danish quartet loves to work with the feel good choruses and harmonies of late 1960s psychedelia, and when combined with the serotonin-inducing flourishes made possible by contemporary music production, Treefight For Sunlight just may have hit upon a musical encapsulation of "ecstasy" in all senses of the word. Although the band is just getting its start professionally, Treefight For Sunlight is already being celebrated by several indie music publications as one of Denmark's most promising pop exports, and that their music, if anything, could do some good for a world in dire need of some sunshine.
