Thomas Tantrum

Common sense would tell you that a band with a name like Thomas Tantrum would be led, if not by an actual man by the name of Thomas, by at least a man. Well, common sense meet Megan Thomas, lead vocalist for Southampton's indie pop group Thomas Tantrum. Thomas, with a voice similar to that of Lily Allen or Kate Nash, leads the four member band in singing fun-loving, often-goofy, power-pop songs. In the band's hit "Work It," Thomas sings "if I step outside, I need a drum roll." Judging from the band's critical acclaim, all four in this sugar and spice group will be getting the drum roll they so clearly deserve.
