Hailing from Liverpool, England Connie Lush is blues singer/songwriter who got her start as a vocalist by singing in her church choir at the age of five. Inspired by Ray Charles and John Lee Hooker, she began her professional music career with a sound that combined elements of jazz and blues. Unafraid to dip into other genres, Lush has recorded albums with garage leanings as well as rock sensibilities though her music has remained firmly rooted in blues.
