Formed by three Liverpudlians after the breakup of their respective bands in 2007, Sound of Guns quickly began writing new material together and playing local shows, gaining two more members along the way. After witnessing the raw energy of the band's live performance, Distiller Records offered to release Sound of Gun's debut single, then sign the group. The five-piece's gritty rock and roll that straddles the line between indie and more mainstream found a diverse fan base, bolstered by its ability to win over nearly any crowd. Despite its distinctly British sound, the band has also managed to draw in a somewhat international crowd as well.Description from last.fm.
