Alexis Jordan is a pop singer and actress from Columbia, South Carolina who achieved her claim to fame as a contestant on America's Got Talent during its first season in 2006. Although the young chanteuse was voted off the show, Jordan used her moment of fame as an opportunity to upload her work onto Youtube, which served to skyrocket her career without any additional help from the show.
