Kelly Rowland is an R&B singer/songwriter who rose to fame as one of the founding members of Destiny's Child. After forming the R&B trio with her cousin Beyonce Knowles and LaTavia Roberson in 1993, she helped bring the group to the forefront of mainstream entertainment with its 1998 self-titled debut album, and virtually all of its subsequent records which earned the group several Grammy Awards along the way. One of the best-selling female groups of all time, Destiny's Child disbanded in 2006, after Rowland had already released her debut solo album Simply Deep, in 2002. The same year she teamed up with rapper Nelly to release the international hit "Dilemma," establishing herself as a star in her own right and setting herself up for a lucrative solo career. Rowland released her forth solo album Talk a Good Game, in 2013.
