Lisa Hannigan, born February 12th 1981 in Kilcloon, County Meath, Ireland, is an indie folk singer/songwriter originally known as the female vocalist from Damien Rice's best-selling breakthrough albums O and 9. Lisa also appears on backing vocals on Mic Christopher's album Skylarkin, as well as on the soundtrack to Goldfish Memory. A stunning vocalist, Lisa regularly performed live with Damien Rice from early 2001 until March 2007, when Rice’s official website announced that his professional relationship with Lisa had “run its creative course”.
