The Frames

Irish indie rock band The Frames were pivotal on the Dublin scene in the early 90s, influencing many Irish bands to follows. Taking its name from the excessive bicycle frames lying around the house of front man Glen Hansard, the band first began honing its folk-infused alt rock sound in 1990. Since then the band has had multiple lineup changes but has retained a loyal following throughout the UK and US, particularly with Hansard's rising fame as an actor.
