Premiata Forneria Marconi, oftentimes abbreviated as PFM, is a progressive rock band from Milan, Italy that was founded in 1970. Filling its sings with lyrics sing in English, impressive synthesizer arrangements and complex rhythms, the group managed to find widespread international success in the 1970s. Having since continued to release albums and tour, Premiata Forneria Marconi is regarded as one of the more stalwart Italian progressive rock bands.
