Welsh quintet Those Damn Crows was formed in 2014 in Bridgend. Comprising Shane Greenhall, Ian "Shiner" Thomas, Lloyd Wood, David Winchurch and Ronnie Huxford, the band borrowed its name from Huxford's father, who shouted "Those damn crows!" while feeding the birds in his garden one day. The band introduced itself with the single "Fear of the Broken" and followed it with the album Murder and the Motive. The band soon hit the road and toured continually, performing at festivals like Camden Rocks, Steelhouse, Giants of Rock and Ramblin' Man. Its retro yet modern sound caught the attention of the label Earache, which signed a deal with the band in 2018. Its second album Point of No Return hit the shelves in 2020, and featured tracks like "Who Did It," "Set in Stone," "Sin on Skin," "Be You" and "Never Win."
