New York City-based singer Alice Smith has a broad musical palette for blues, jazz, soul, R&B and rock music. Her 2006 debut album For Lovers, Dreamers & Me, demonstrates her multiplicity and sets her apart from other female singers who tend to stay within the limitations of one or two genres. Her four-octave vocal range is exemplified on her hit song "Dream," which was featured the HBO series Entourage as well as Showtime's The L Word. Among her charitable works, Smith collaborated with Aloe Blacc to record the track "Baby" for the Red Hot Organization's 2011 AIDS/HIV awareness album, Red Hot + Rio 2.
