The Bandulus, a ska, reggae, and soul sensation, was formed by musician Jeremy Peña in Austin, Texas. With a background in bands like Los Skarnales and the Trenchtown Texans, Peña embarked on his own musical journey to create The Bandulus. Their debut album, "Ska.Reggae.Soul," released in 2010, featured collaborations with esteemed musicians such as Vic Ruggiero and Willy Camero from The Slackers, as well as members of The Stingers ATX. The album received acclaim and set the stage for The Bandulus to establish their live band with talented musicians from the Austin and San Antonio scenes. In 2012, they released their second album, "The Times We Had," which garnered recognition in the ska and reggae community for its genre-crossing approach and soulful lyrics. Their third album, "Love A Woman," released in 2020, showcased their versatility with tracks encompassing various subgenres, from early rock 'n' roll to contemporary reggae with a psychedelic twist. The Bandulus have performed alongside renowned ska and reggae acts and graced stages at notable festivals, solidifying their presence in the music scene.
