Formed in 1998 by The Hanging Tree's Flynn Gower and Juice's Lucious Borich, COG is a progressive rock band from Australia that has wowed audiences with its riveting live performances. The band made a name for itself headlining weekly shows at Surrey Hill's Excelsior Hotel, and was even nominated for the title of "Best Emerging Live Band in NSW" at the Australian Live Music Awards. COG released the Just Visiting EPs in 2002, however, its first album, The New Normal, would not be complete until 2005, bagging the No. 19 spot on the ARIA Charts when it finally debuted. Despite their immense success as live performers, the members of COG went their separate ways in 2010 only to reunite six years later, with the release of "The Middle" in 2018 marking the dawn of a new era for COG.
