The Getaway Plan

The Getaway Plan emerged out of Australia in 2004 and quickly integrated into the popular alternative rock scene of the 2000s. The band released its debut EP Hold Conversation, in 2005 before deciding to travel to the US to record its first album, Other Voices, Other Rooms. Recorded in Florida, the 2008 album featured The Getaway Plan's hit single "Streetlight," and rose to number 14 on US Charts. Despite a successful national tour in support of the Donnas, the band announced a farewell tour 2009. Only a year later, The Getaway Plan reunited and released its second studio album Requiem, in 2011.
