Gregory Joseph Keltgen, widely known as DJ Abilities, is an accomplished underground hip hop producer and DJ hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment and has played a significant role in the underground hip hop scene. DJ Abilities co-founded the duo Eyedea & Abilities with rapper Eyedea, as well as the group Semi.Official with I Self Devine. He is also associated with 1200 Hobos and was once a member of Atmosphere. DJ Abilities has been recognized for his exceptional DJ skills, winning two regional DJ championships for the Midwest region. His debut album, First Born, was released in 2001 as part of Eyedea & Abilities. He has also collaborated with artists such as El-P, Mr. Lif, and Killer Mike. DJ Abilities' contributions to the hip hop culture have been celebrated, as evidenced by the star dedicated to Eyedea & Abilities on the outside mural of the renowned Minneapolis nightclub First Avenue. With his remarkable turntablism and production skills, DJ Abilities continues to leave a lasting impact on the underground hip hop community.
