Matt Fazzi, formerly of Facing New York, recruited his friend Issac Bolivar as a touring guitarist for his then new band Taking Back Sunday circa 2009. Following their departure from TBS, the guitarists formed Happy Body Slow Brain in spring of 2010. In the fall of that year, the pair has since self-released their debut album album Dreams of Water. Fazzi and Bolivar have crafted HBSB as a progressive R&B/ Rock band, which in itself is a mixture and melding of Fazzi's two previous bands.
