Linda Ronstadt is a vocalist from Tuscon, Arizona who has collected multiple Grammy Awards and Academy of Country Music Awards over her decades long career. Since releasing her debut album, Hand Sown ... Home Grown in 1969, Ronstadt has collected a dedicated following with both her solo material and various collaborations with legendary musicians including Frank Zappa, Neil Young, Johnny Cash and Philip Glass. Although Ronstadt was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2012, leaving her unable to sing, she is nevertheless respected and renowned for her impact and influence on the modern music community.
