Melissa Manchester

New York City singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester is of one adult contemporary's biggest stars. Beginning in the 1970s, Manchester is said to have been discovered by Barry Manilow and Bette Midler in the New York club circuit. Manchester's biggest hit was "You Should Hear How She Talks About You," which she won a Grammy for in 1983. She continues to tour regularly around the US and abroad, carrying a loyal, decades-long fan base along with her.
