With a repertoire colored by pop standards, Carly Simon is a singer/songwriter from New York City who is best known for her 1972 classic "You're So Vain." First introduced to the music industry as one-half of The Simon Sisters along with her sister Lucy, Simon began her solo career in 1971 with the release of her eponymous debut album, which featured her first top-ten hit, "That's the Way I've Always Heard It Should Be."
