Lunic

Lunic is a female indie and electro trio based out of New York City. With roots dating back to 2008, it wasn't until 2011 that Lunic really hit its stride. The band dropped the safety net of a backing band it had previously employed, began focusing more on fully understanding its instrumentation setup and really settled into its current electropop sound. Using live strings, guitars and drums, coupled with digital flourishes via synths, effect pedals and midi controllers, Lunic's songs strive to achieve a balance between gritty indie rock and dreamy electro that has won it comparisons to The Kills and Metric.
