Eve, whose real name is Eve Jihan Jeffers, was born in Philadelphia in November 1978. Eve came to New York and worked at a strip club, but was able to quit when she got signed as a professional rapper. She has collaborated with many big names, such as DMX, the Ruff Ryders and Janet Jackson. Her debut album, Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders' First Lady, was released in 1999. She has also explored acting, and has held roles in movies like xXx alongside Vin Diesel and on TV shows like Glee.
