Nnenna Freelon

Nnenna Freelon is a jazz singer/songwriter from Cambridge, Massachusetts who has been described by one critic as, "a spell-binding professional, who rivets attention with her glorious, cultivated voice and canny stagecraft." Freelon released her self-titled debut album in 1992 and since then she has regularly released LPs. In addition to her solo career, Freelon has maintained a prolific collaborative career, performing with Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Herbie Hancock.
