Odin, a heavy metal band hailing from Los Angeles, emerged in 1980 with founding members Jeff Duncan, Shawn Duncan, and Aaron Samson, later joined by vocalist Randy O. Their self-produced EP "Caution" in 1982 marked their entry into the L.A. metal scene, leading to gigs alongside renowned acts like W.A.S.P. and Armored Saint. The release of "Don't Take No for an Answer" in 1985 further solidified their local presence, with tracks like "Shining Love" gaining radio play. Despite their debut full-length album "Fight for Your Life" being exclusive to Japan in 1988, Odin's impact reverberated through the metal community. Vocalist Randy O's departure prompted the band's evolution, with subsequent projects like the Lost Boys showcasing their enduring influence.
