Sean John Combs, known by various stage names including Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, is an American record producer, rapper, actor, men's fashion designer, entrepreneur and dancer. He had been lauded with Grammys, Video Music Awards and even a Council of Fashion Designers of America award for his clothing line. He was originally known as Puff Daddy, then as P. Diddy (Puff and Puffy being often used as a nickname, but never as recording names). He changed his name again in 2005 to just Diddy, and threw it back in 2006 to his original moniker Puff Daddy. He has proven to be one of the more successful hip-hop moguls of his generation, collaborating and launching the careers of countless artists in the industry.
