Robert Gordon is a rockabilly artist from Washington DC. After hearing Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel" at age nine, he adopted his signature style that would go on to define his music career. Gordon dropped his debut album Robert Gordon with Link Wray, in 1977 on Private Stock Records. He quickly earned attention as a rockabilly revivalist and released his second album, Fresh Fish Special, in 1978, which featured Elvis's backing vocalists The Jordanaires as well as Bruce Springsteen. Gordon has stayed true to his aesthetic over the decades, and although he's taken a few more years between albums, he continues to drop LPs such as 2014's I'm Coming Home.
