Sloan

Sloan is a Toronto-based alternative rock quartet that was formed in 1991 after its members met at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. After gigging around for a bit and independently releasing some material, the group was signed by Geffen Records and released its 1992 debut LP, Smeared. Having since gone on to maintain a prolific recording schedule, in addition to up-keeping an ardent touring regime, Sloan has proven itself to be one of its generation's more capable Canadian alternative rock bands.
