Kronos Quartet is a string quartet that was formed in 1973 by violinist David Harrington. The group performs often in San Francisco, where it's based. However, after putting out over forty albums with 1.5 million copies sold, Kronos Quartet has toured internationally, bringing its contemporary classical sound to audiences all around the world.
