Steve Hughes

Steve Hughes is a stand-up comedian and musician from Sydney, Australia that is perhaps one of the few mainstream comedians that actually began his career as a member of a relatively well-known black metal band in the early 1990s. Not satisfied with his career as a drummer for the band Nazxul, Hughes made an unlikely transition into comedy in the mid 1990s and immediately wowed audiences with his surprisingly hilarious, metal-inspired stand-up routine. Since becoming one of Australia's most sought after comics in his native Australia, Steve Hughes has since moved to Manchester, England where his brand of hardcore humor has been well received.
