The Cleverlys

Blending toether tongue-in-cheek comedy with outdated country music styles, Arkansas-based outfit The Cleverlys knows that the best way to pay tribute to something is to satirize it. Releasing its self-titled debut album in 2011, the New York Times described the group as “If Earl Scruggs, Dolly Parton, and Spinal Tap spawned a litter of puppies, it would be the Cleverlys.” Not just performing classic country tunes, The Cleverlys are known to fill their performances with well known hits like Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” and Flo Rida’s “Low.”
