One of Germany's most popular a capella groups, The Wise Guys formed in 1985 in Cologne. The ensemble is recognizable for its fine-tuned harmonies and friendly lyrics. The group draws from American doo wop as well as choral traditions, which results in a decidedly sweet and poppy style.
