Patrice

Patrice is an artist from Germany who mixes folk, soul and blues into his own cohesive brand of reggae fusion music. With socially conscious rhetoric woven throughout his sound, he released his debut EP, Lions, in 1999 when he was only 18 years old, followed quickly by the critically acclaimed Ancient Spirits, in 2000. The half-African, half-German artist continues to split his time between touring with his band Shashamani and recording new albums, such as 2005's Nile.
